Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it, both on this website and in Tugadot Mail.

01About us

In this policy, "Tugadot", "we", "us" and "our" mean Tugadot Pty Ltd (ABN 12 688 604 364).

Tugadot Pty Ltd
Suite 402, 9/340 Hope Island Road
Hope Island QLD 4212, Australia

Privacy contact: info@tugadot.com

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

02This website

This section covers tugadot.com.

What we collect

  • Contact form. When you send us an enquiry, we collect your name, email address and message, and anything else you choose to give us: company, the services you are interested in, budget and timeline. The form is delivered to us by email through Twilio SendGrid, which also sends you an automatic confirmation email.
  • Email enquiries. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, your message and anything you include with it.
  • Meeting bookings. If you book a call through our booking page at crm.tugadot.com, we collect the details you enter there, such as your name, email address and the time you choose.
  • Founder catch-up registrations. Our founder catch-up page (tugadot.com/founders) asks for your name, email address, and optionally your company and LinkedIn profile, plus your answers to a short poll. We store these in our database, hosted by Supabase, and your browser keeps a copy so the page remembers you. Your name and company appear on the page's participants list for other visitors to see; your email address does not.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site, for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_<ID>) and collects information about your device, browser and visit. We do not use it to identify you.
  • Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage. It never leaves your device.

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels or other tracking tools on this website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Why we collect it

We use this information to reply to your enquiry, arrange and hold meetings, run our founder catch-ups, provide the services you ask for, and improve this website. We do not use it for anything else without your consent, unless the law requires or allows it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and booking details for as long as we need them to deal with you and to meet our legal and record keeping obligations, then delete them.

We do not sell personal information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

03Our products

Each of our products, including ScanQueue, BloodTrack, PillWise, FITURO and Rent In Australia, has its own privacy policy on its own website. That policy, not this one, explains how the product handles your information. For example:

04Tugadot Mail

Tugadot Mail is a private Mac email app used internally by Tugadot. It is not offered to the public.

What it accesses

With your permission, given through Google sign-in, Tugadot Mail accesses the following for the signed-in Google account:

  • Gmail: reading, sending and modifying messages, and managing labels and drafts.
  • Google Calendar.

Where your data is stored

Email and calendar data is stored only on your own Mac, in a local database. Sign-in tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain. We run no servers that store this data.

AI features

When you use the app's AI features (summaries, drafts and triage), the relevant message content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API, using our own API key, only to produce that result. Anthropic does not train its models on API data. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

How we use Google user data

We do not sell Google user data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. No humans read it unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.

Tugadot Mail's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How to revoke access

  • In your Google Account, go to Security, then Third-party apps with account access, and remove Tugadot Mail. You can also do this at myaccount.google.com/connections.
  • Or remove the account in the app.

Deleting the app's data folder removes all local data.

05Security and your rights

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. This website is served over HTTPS, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the services we use are based in the United States, so personal information may be stored or processed there. These are Google (Google Analytics, Gmail and Google Calendar), Anthropic (the Claude API used by Tugadot Mail), Twilio SendGrid (contact form emails) and Vercel (which hosts this website).

Access and correction

You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@tugadot.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at info@tugadot.com so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
